STRUCTURE AND POSITION

  •         Frontalis Muscle is a thin sheet of muscles just above the orbits.
  •         Frontalis Muscle is larger and more pale in colour than the occipital belly.
  •         Frontalis Muscle is quadrilateral in shape.

ATTACHMENTS 

BLOOD SUPPLY 

Frontalis Muscle is supplied by the Supraorbital and Supratrochlear Arteries.

NERVE SUPPLY 

Frontalis Muscle is innervated by the Facial Nerve.

ACTION 

  •         Frontalis Muscle raises the Eyebrows.
  •         It also produces the horizontal wrinkles on the forehead.
